add the new New York City Department of Consumers Affairs' compliance requirements
for New York City process servers which include process servers license renewal
application, insurance forms, process service agency roster form, and process server
electronic device compliance form.
Starting February 29, 2012, all New York City process servers must carry an eletronic GPS
device (Possibly an i-phone or Droid mobile telephone 3G or 4G), have a contract with an
eletronic device agency (E.g. Civil Map, Process360) for global tracking, have passed the
process server exam and hold a surety bond of $10,000.00 (For individual NY process
servers) and $100, 000.00 (For New York process service agencies) . Otherwise the NYC
Department of Consumers Affairs will not renew their process serving licenses.
We have added a new New York Process Server of the Month to our New York Process
Server Directory pages and a new Attorney of the Month for May 2012 Regarding the
process server of the month, the honor for May 2012 has been granted to the
